Zodiac UV Blockout 1KG is a stabiliser (cyanuric acid) that protects chlorine from rapid degradation due to UV rays. Especially during hot, sunny months, chlorine can be destroyed quickly by sunlight—this leads to increased chemical use and higher maintenance costs. UV Blockout helps keep chlorine active longer.
By stabilising free chlorine, UV Blockout enhances your pool’s sanitising efficiency and reduces the frequency of chlorine top-ups. It’s ideal for pools without shade or during summer when UV exposure is at its peak.
The 1KG size is perfect for residential pools and is compatible with all chlorine-based sanitiser systems, including liquid, granular, and saltwater chlorination. Simply dissolve and dose as required to maintain ideal stabiliser levels (typically 30–50ppm).
