Regular pool cleaning FAQs
Is the price really $110+Gst per clean?
Yes. A standard regular residential pool clean is $110+Gst within our normal service area. Chemicals are charged separately based on what your pool requires. We will let you know before completing any work that falls outside the standard service.
Are chemicals included?
No. Chemicals are not included in the service price. Any chemicals required, including balancing chemicals, salt or green pool treatments, are charged separately.
What is included in a standard clean?
A standard clean includes skimming, brushing, vacuuming as required, emptying baskets, checking water flow and filtration, testing the water and providing a service report.
How often should my pool be cleaned?
Most pools benefit from weekly or fortnightly cleaning during warmer months. Lower-use pools may need less frequent servicing during winter. We can recommend a practical schedule after assessing your pool.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No. We can arrange a regular cleaning schedule without locking you into a long-term contract.
Can I book a one-off pool clean?
Yes. One-off cleans are available before an event, after bad weather or when regular maintenance has fallen behind.
Is green pool recovery included?
No. Green pool recovery usually requires extra labour, chemicals and follow-up visits. We will assess the pool and provide a separate quote before starting treatment.
What happens if you find an equipment problem?
We will explain the issue and provide a recommendation or quote. Repairs are not completed without your approval.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Usually not. As long as we have safe access to the pool and equipment area, we can complete the service and send you a report afterward.
What access do you need?
We need clear and safe access to the pool, pump, filter and chlorination equipment. Please let us know about locked gates, pets or special access instructions before the visit.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain usually does not prevent a service. Severe weather, lightning or unsafe conditions may require us to reschedule the visit.
Will you tell me what chemicals were added?
Yes. Your service report will outline the condition of the pool, the work completed and any chemicals added or recommended.
Can you service pools with robotic cleaners?
Yes. We can service pools that use robotic cleaners and check whether the cleaner is operating effectively as part of the overall pool care routine.
Can I pause or change my cleaning schedule?
Yes. Contact us if you need to pause, move or change your regular service frequency. Reasonable notice helps us adjust the schedule.
