How green pool recovery works

  1. Assess the pool and equipment. We check the water condition, debris, circulation and filtration to understand what the pool needs.
  2. Agree on the recovery plan. We explain the proposed cleaning, treatment and any equipment work that needs a separate quote.
  3. Remove debris and treat the water. The cleaning and treatment are selected for the pool condition, surface and equipment.
  4. Filter, clean and reassess. Follow up cleaning, filtration and water testing may be needed as the water clears.
  5. Plan ongoing care. We explain the maintenance needed between visits and any issues that could cause the problem to return.

What does a green pool recovery cost?

Green pool recovery is quoted after assessment. The price depends on pool size, the amount of debris, water condition, treatment requirements, equipment performance and the number of visits needed.

The $148.50 including GST ($135 + GST) standard cleaning service covers routine maintenance. Green pool recovery is a separate service. Ask for the recovery scope, chemicals and any follow up visits to be explained in your quote.

How long does recovery take?

There is no reliable fixed timeframe without checking the pool. A pool with working filtration and a light algae problem can need a different plan from one with heavy debris or a pump fault. We discuss an expected sequence after assessment and update you if conditions change.

Clear looking water alone does not confirm that water chemistry is suitable for swimming. Follow the technician’s advice on testing and returning the pool to use.

Will the pool need to be drained?

Can you help if the pump or filter is not working?

Tell us before the visit. Effective circulation and filtration are part of the recovery assessment. Repairs or replacement equipment are quoted separately through our equipment service.

Can a hired robot fix a green pool?

A robot can assist with suitable debris removal, but it does not diagnose equipment faults or balance the water. Ask us about the pool condition before choosing robot hire as part of a recovery plan.

What happens after the water clears?

We discuss cleaning, water testing and equipment care between visits. You can arrange regular cleaning or review the annual maintenance plan for ongoing support.
