Buying guide
How the Zodiac robotic range fits together
FreeRider models remove the cable from the pool, Duo-X focuses on powerful everyday corded cleaning, and EvoluX adds smarter navigation and premium connected control for larger pools.
The FR200 is the natural starting point for a smaller pool if cordless simplicity matters. DX3000 and DX4000 suit owners who prefer a corded robot with dual-stage filtration. DX4050 iQ adds app control and supports larger pools, while the EX6050 iQ is the step-up option for pools up to 15 by 7 metres.

Zodiac FAQs
Questions before you buy
Quick answers to the main questions when comparing Zodiac robotic cleaners.
Which Zodiac robotic pool cleaner is right for my pool?
Start with pool size, whether you want corded or cordless operation, and whether app control matters to you. The FreeRider FR200 is aimed at smaller pools, the Duo-X range covers everyday residential pools, the FreeRider FR350 iQ adds cordless connected cleaning, and the EvoluX EX6050 iQ is designed for larger pools up to 15 by 7 metres.
What is the difference between the Zodiac DX3000 and DX4000?
Both Duo-X models suit pools up to 10 by 5 metres and clean the floor, walls and waterline. The DX4000 steps up the user experience with additional cleaning mode flexibility, while both use Zodiac cyclonic suction and dual-stage filtration.
What does the DX4050 iQ add?
The DX4050 iQ is designed for pools up to 12 by 6 metres and adds iAquaLink app control, allowing you to monitor and control the cleaner from your phone.
Should I choose a corded Zodiac or a FreeRider cordless cleaner?
Corded models are useful when you want repeatable cleaning without recharging. FreeRider models remove the cable from the pool and are easier to store, while connected iQ models add app-based monitoring and control.
Can the Zodiac SpaBot SB1000 clean a swimming pool?
No. SpaBot is specifically designed for spas, jacuzzis and hot tubs up to 3 by 3 metres. Choose one of the Zodiac pool robots for a swimming pool.
Where can I find Zodiac warranty and repair information?
Warranty terms vary by model. Pool Perfectionists keeps robot warranty and repair information together on the Pool Robot Warranties and Repairs page, and we can help point you to the right support path.
