FAQs

What pool robot am I hiring?

You will be hiring a Zodiac CX20 robotic pool cleaner. It is a professional-grade unit designed to clean the pool floor, walls, and waterline in most residential pools.

How do I use the pool robot?

Place the robot gently into the pool and allow it to sink fully. Plug the cable into the control box, then plug the control box into a power point and press start. The robot will automatically clean the pool during its cycle.

Are there any important handling rules?

Yes, please follow these rules carefully:

-Never lift or remove the robot from the pool by the cable. Always use the handle. -Keep the control box completely dry and out of the rain. -Do not run the robot out of the water. -Do not use the robot while people are swimming.
What type of pools can it be used in?

The robot is suitable for most concrete, pebblecrete, tiled, and fibreglass pools. If you are unsure whether your pool is suitable, please contact us before use.

How long can I hire the robot for?

Hire periods are agreed at the time of booking. Please ensure the robot is returned on or before the agreed return date to avoid late fees.

How do I return the robot?

Please rinse the robot, cable, and filter basket with fresh water, empty the filter basket, coil the cable loosely, and return all components including the robot and control box to the agreed location.

What happens if the robot is damaged?

You are responsible for the robot during the hire period. Normal wear is expected, however damage caused by misuse or incorrect handling may result in repair or replacement charges. Lost components will also be charged.

What if I need help or something goes wrong?

If you experience any issues, turn the robot off, remove it from the pool using the handle, and call us straight away. Most issues can be resolved quickly over the phone.

Can I leave the robot running unattended?

The robot can run unattended during a cleaning cycle. Once the cycle finishes, turn it off and remove it from the pool. Do not leave it sitting in the water long-term.
