Why buy from us

Call 1300 152 135We can help locate your order, invoice and purchase date when a claim needs to be started.

We help prepare the information and communicate with the relevant supplier, brand or service network.

What happens next
The exact process varies by brand, but most claims follow these six steps.
Send your order number, robot model, serial number, a description of the fault and any error messages.
A short video showing the behaviour often helps us identify simple issues and prepare the claim faster.
We guide you through safe checks involving filters, tracks, brushes, power, charging and operating settings.
If the problem remains, we help coordinate the warranty request with the appropriate Australian channel.
The robot may be returned for testing. Please wait for approval and packing instructions before sending it.
The outcome may be a repair, replacement part, replacement robot, other remedy or a quote for uncovered work.
Stop using the robot if it appears damaged, smells unusual, takes on water, has a damaged cable or charger, or behaves unsafely. Do not open a sealed motor, battery compartment or power supply unless instructed by an authorised technician.
Understanding cover
Each manufacturer has its own terms and every claim requires assessment. These examples explain the usual distinction.
Brand warranty FAQs

Assessment through the Australian warranty and service network
BWT warranty periods vary by model. Current examples include:
| BWT model | Manufacturer warranty |
|---|---|
| F1 Sonic Pro | 2 years |
| F1R | 2 years |
| F1RX | 3 years |
| F1RXT | 4 years |
Some eligible cordless models may receive an additional year when the extended warranty is registered within the required period. The warranty provided with the specific robot at purchase applies.
Contact Pool Perfectionists first. We help complete initial checks and coordinate the claim. The robot may then be assessed by an authorised service centre. It may be repaired, receive a replacement component, be replaced, or be returned if no fault is found.
A manufacturing or quality fault reported within seven days may be considered under BWT’s out of box process, subject to assessment and approval. The robot must not show signs of misuse or physical damage. Power supply units are assessed separately.
Misuse, neglect, impact damage, incorrect operation, unauthorised repairs and normal wear are generally excluded. Filters, baskets, rollers, brushes and tracks may be treated as wear components unless defective when supplied.

Maytronics warranty periods vary by model and are commonly between 24 and 36 months. Current examples include:
| Maytronics Dolphin model | Manufacturer warranty |
|---|---|
| X20 | 2 years |
| X25 | 2 years |
| X30 | 2 years |
| X40 Plus | 2 years |
| Active X6 | 3 years |
Premium models, promotions and eligible dealer programs may have different coverage. The warranty stated for the specific robot at purchase applies.
Registration is recommended because it connects the model, serial number and purchase details. Maytronics states that failing to register does not diminish warranty rights, but proof of purchase should always be retained.
Register with MaytronicsWe help check the filter, brushes, tracks, cable, power supply and impeller area. If the problem cannot be resolved safely, the robot may be assessed by an authorised Maytronics repairer. Many faults can be resolved by replacing an individual component instead of replacing the complete robot.
Maytronics publishes a workshop target of two working days from receipt of the cleaner, subject to diagnosis and parts availability. Freight, seasonal demand and specialist parts can extend the total turnaround time. Parts replaced through Maytronics robotic repair service currently receive a 12 month repair warranty.
View Maytronics repair informationAccidental damage, misuse, unauthorised work, incorrect storage, chemical damage and ordinary wear are generally excluded. Filters, brushes, climbing rings and tracks may require routine replacement.
Claims and service managed through the Australian Fluidra network

| VX40, VX42, VX45, VX50, VX55 | 3 years |
| EX4000 iQ, EX5000 iQ, EX6000 iQ, EX5050 iQ, EX6050 iQ | 3 years |
| FreeRider FR1000 iQ, FR2000 iQ | 3 years |
| FreeRider F500 iQ, FR800 iQ, FR200 | 2 years |
| SpaBot SB1000 | 1 year |
Selected connected models include both a time period and an operating hour limit on the motor block. Some two year models are covered for two years or 800 hours, whichever occurs first. Some three year models are covered for three years or 1,200 hours, whichever occurs first.
Zodiac currently provides one year of coverage on specified wearable components for many residential robots. These can include the filter canister, tyres, tracks and roller brush. After that period, replacement may be treated as routine maintenance.
Contact Pool Perfectionists first. We help review the problem and collect the required information. Zodiac service requests are managed through Fluidra Australia’s warranty system and may require proof of purchase, model, serial number, photos, video and troubleshooting details.
View Zodiac Australia warrantiesAccidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modifications, incorrect maintenance and operation outside the instructions are generally excluded. Wear components may have shorter coverage than the complete robot.
Remote troubleshooting followed by replacement for an approved fault
Beatbot Australia currently provides either two or three years of full replacement coverage, depending on the model:
| Beatbot model | Warranty |
|---|---|
| Sora 10 | 2 years, full replacement |
| Sora 30 | 2 years, full replacement |
| Sora 70 | 3 years, full replacement |
| AquaSense 2 | 3 years, full replacement |
| AquaSense 2 Pro | 3 years, full replacement |
| AquaSense 2 Ultra | 3 years, full replacement |
Extended coverage may be available for selected models.
If a fault cannot be resolved remotely and is confirmed as an approved warranty fault after assessment, Beatbot generally supplies a replacement unit rather than repairing the original robot component by component. Replacement remains subject to troubleshooting, return and confirmation of coverage.
Accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised work, incorrect charging, improper storage, cosmetic damage and normal wear are generally excluded. Second hand purchases and unsupported overseas products may not qualify for the Australian warranty process.

Common questions
Straight answers about returns, freight, repairs and what happens when a robot cannot be fixed.
Please provide your order number, brand, model, serial number, purchase date, a clear description, error codes and photos or video. The more detail we receive initially, the easier it is to begin troubleshooting.
Contact Pool Perfectionists first when the robot was purchased from us. We help review the fault, locate your order details and coordinate the appropriate warranty pathway.
No. Original packaging is not generally required to exercise rights for a genuinely faulty product, although the robot must be packed securely. The original box is often the safest option if it is still available.
If the product is confirmed to have a covered fault, reasonable return costs paid by the customer must generally be reimbursed. If no fault is found, or the damage is outside warranty, assessment and freight charges may apply. Any known potential costs will be explained before non warranty work is authorised.
Not necessarily. Most claims require troubleshooting and assessment. The normal outcome may be repair, part replacement or complete replacement depending on the brand, fault and consumer rights. Beatbot currently operates a full replacement process for confirmed covered faults in its listed Australian range.
A temporary robot is not automatically included with a manufacturer warranty claim. Availability depends on the brand, repairer, retailer and expected repair period, so a loan unit cannot be guaranteed.
The robot may be returned if testing confirms it is operating correctly. Assessment or freight costs may apply where no product fault is identified. Some apparent faults result from settings, blocked filters, pool conditions or normal robot behaviour.
If the robot can be repaired, a quotation may be provided. No paid work will proceed without approval. We can also compare the likely repair cost with replacement options.
An expired manufacturer warranty does not automatically remove your consumer rights. Australian Consumer Law may apply for a reasonable period. Where it does not apply, we can still assist with parts, repair referrals and replacement advice.
No claim can be guaranteed before assessment. We can promise to help explain the process, provide available purchase information, communicate with the appropriate channel and support the fair application of warranty and consumer guarantee rights.
The original seller should be the first point of contact for a warranty claim. Pool Perfectionists may still be able to offer troubleshooting, servicing, paid repair support or replacement advice depending on the brand and model.
