Supply advice across Australia. Installation enquiries for Sydney and the Sutherland Shire.

Start with your pool
Two ways to make pool care simpler.
Start with what you want your chlorinator to do. If your priority is straightforward daily operation, Solo is a natural place to begin. If you want to coordinate other equipment, explore Echo. Then choose the chlorine output for your pool.
The straightforward choice
AstralPool Solo
Modern chlorination, timers and compatible pump control in one approachable system. A good option to discuss when replacing a basic controller or setting up a new pool.
- Manage everyday settings on the touchscreen or app.
- Set schedules around your pool routine.
- Connect a compatible AstralPool variable speed pump through Bluetooth.
Our buying advice: start here if extra equipment integration is not part of your plan.

AstralPool Echo
Build on the connected chlorination essentials with support for heating, acid dosing and lighting. A useful option when planning a broader equipment upgrade.
- Integrate a compatible heater.
- Add sensorless acid dosing with a separate Halo doser.
- Control compatible lighting through separate Halo Lite hardware.
Our buying advice: choose the connections you need before choosing the accessories.
Explore the Echo range →Everyday convenience
Smarter control, close at hand.
At the equipment
A touchscreen gives you direct access to settings and schedules. The included temperature sensor needs to be fitted to enable temperature related functions.
On your phone
Use the Fluidra Pool app for connected control. Check Wi-Fi coverage where the equipment sits, especially if it is away from the house.
Through the seasons
Seasonal scheduling, Boost and low spa modes help you adapt operation. Cold Protect reduces production as water gets colder. Regular water testing remains part of your routine.
Side by side
Solo vs Echo, what changes?
The step up to Echo is about equipment integration. Both ranges offer the same four rated chlorine outputs.
Swipe across the table to compare both models.
| Feature | Solo | Echo |
|---|---|---|
| 5 inch touchscreen | Included | Included |
| Fluidra Pool app, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth | Included | Included |
| Boost and low spa modes | Included | Included |
| Seasonal mode and Cold Protect | Included | Included |
| Water temperature sensor | Included, requires fitting | Included, requires fitting |
| Compatible AstralPool variable speed pump control | Bluetooth | Bluetooth or RJ12 |
| Heater integration | Not supported | Relay or RJ12, subject to compatibility |
| Sensorless acid dosing | Not supported | Supported with a separate Halo doser |
| Pool lighting control | Not supported | Supported with separate Halo Lite hardware |
| Available chlorine outputs | 18, 25, 35 and 45 g/hr | 18, 25, 35 and 45 g/hr |
Accessories are separate. Echo’s dosing and lighting capabilities need the relevant hardware. Heater and pump integration depend on the exact equipment and connections. Ask us to confirm your complete setup.
Build around your pool
What can Echo bring together?

Heating and pump control
Echo supports heater relay or RJ12 connections and compatible pump communication. The correct connection depends on the equipment model; third party heaters must support the required remote control method.
Send the model labels for your pump and heater with your enquiry. We can assess the connection before including it in a quote.
Optional acid dosing
Add a compatible Halo doser for sensorless acid dosing. Echo calculates dosing rather than measuring pH with a probe. Water testing and adjustment of the setup are still required.
Optional lighting control
Separate Halo Lite hardware connects compatible lighting to Echo. Tell us which lights and transformers are installed so we can check the proposed arrangement.
A useful planning question: which equipment do you want connected now, and what might you add later?
Choose the right output
Which size suits your pool?
Both ranges come in 18, 25, 35 and 45 gram per hour models. Use the manufacturer guide below as a starting point, then discuss your pool and operating conditions with us.
Swipe across for both climate ratings.
| Models | Output | Temperate climate | Tropical climate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo 18 / Echo 18 | 18 g/hr | 50,000 L | 40,000 L |
| Solo 25 / Echo 25 | 25 g/hr | 90,000 L | 60,000 L |
| Solo 35 / Echo 35 | 35 g/hr | 120,000 L | 80,000 L |
| Solo 45 / Echo 45 | 45 g/hr | 150,000 L | 100,000 L |
Pool volume is only the starting point. Tell us about sun exposure, heating, swimming use, a pool cover and your usual pump schedule. These help us recommend an appropriate setup rather than choosing solely from a maximum volume figure.
Unsure of your pool volume?
Send the approximate length, width and shallow and deep end depths. Mention a connected spa or unusual shape so we can help estimate the volume.
Salt and plumbing
The range specifies a recommended salinity of 4,000 ppm at 25°C, an operating range of 3,000 to 8,000 ppm, and 40 mm or 50 mm plumbing. We will check how the new equipment fits your existing installation.
Upgrade with a plan
Replacing your chlorinator?
An upgrade starts with understanding the equipment you already have. A photo of the controller alone may not show the pipework, available space or connections that affect the job.
Send a few photos
Include the full equipment area, existing chlorinator and cell, and readable pump and heater labels. Add your suburb and approximate pool volume.
Review the options
We can discuss Solo or Echo, the output size and any accessories. If the existing unit has a fault, ask us to assess the repair and replacement options.
Get a clear quote
Ask for supply or Sydney installation pricing, with equipment, plumbing changes and any additional work identified. Discuss commissioning, schedules and app setup as part of the job.
Installation requirements are assessed for your site. Electrical work, where required, must be carried out by an appropriately licensed tradesperson.
Your questions, answered
Before you choose.
Is Echo more powerful than Solo?
At the same output rating, they produce the same rated grams of chlorine per hour. Choose Echo for its additional equipment control, then choose the output that suits your pool.
Can either replace my existing chlorinator?
They are options for an equipment upgrade, but a replacement needs a site check. Send photos of your current controller, cell and surrounding pipework. We will assess the mounting space, plumbing and electrical requirements before quoting.
Will Solo or Echo control my existing pump?
Speed control depends on the exact pump model and communication method. A pump being a variable speed model does not automatically make it compatible. Send us its model label so we can check the proposed connection.
Does Echo automatically test and balance the water?
Echo’s optional acid dosing is sensorless. It does not measure pH with a probe. You still need to test the water and adjust the dosing setup as required; chlorination and acid dosing do not replace complete water care.
Do I need to buy all the Echo accessories immediately?
No. Start by telling us what you want to control now and what you may add later. We can scope the installation around that plan and confirm which accessories and connections are needed.
Will it work if my internet drops out?
Local touchscreen operation remains available. Remote app functions depend on internet connectivity. Good Wi-Fi coverage at the equipment area is worth checking before installation.
How much do Solo and Echo cost?
The quote depends on the model, chlorine output, supply or installation, and any extra equipment or connections. Contact us for current pricing and availability. We will identify the included hardware and any additional work in your quote.
